What are we doing? Math:Measurement-Design a Pool, then take a field trip to the new Carbondale Splash Park to see them designing a pool. Reading: Novel Unit- Fever 1793 Science: Plants Health: Basic First Aid Social Studies: Continuing to travel the Oregon Trail Spelling: No more spelling lists this year due to reading               evaluations	Upcoming Dates: 5/20- Field Trip John A. Notes from the Teachers *Our field trip to General John A. Logan Museum in Murphysboro is Friday, May 20th. Please send your child in comfortable clothes/shoes. We will spend much of the day outside or in houses that do not have air conditioning, so students need to dress for the weather. Students will need a water bottle and a towel to sit on (if desired). *Please return registration for next year if you haven’t already. *The last day of school for students is May 24. Report cards will be mailed home that week.
