How can I help my child succeed in Fifth Grade?
*Multiplication skills are vital for your child’s success in 5th grade math. Practice times tables regularly with your child to help him or her start the year off right! There are flashcards available at the Dollar Tree and Dollar General, and www.multiplication.com is a great website for extra practice.
*ST math is also available for practice at home. Students should all be familiar with this site and have a username and password.    web.stmath.com
*Continue to encourage your child to read for 30 minutes per day. Daily practice is important for success in reading.
