Notes from the Teachers
*D.A.R.E. lessons will be taught in 5th grade beginning October 11th for the next 10 weeks.
*Daily reading practice- Practicing reading at home is the most important thing your child can do to increase his or her reading abilities. Please encourage your child to read for at least 20-30 minutes each night.
*Your child should be bringing home his/her planner each night with all the day’s assignments written in it. Daily work can also be found on the class blog. In addition, each Friday, we send home this newsletter with missing work and behavior reports. Please check your child’s nightly planner and weekly newsletter regularly.
